Hey! Tell us who you are and where you’re from.

My name is Fungai Tanya Chimbuya and I am from Zimbabwe.

You are a JA/INJAZ alumnus: What did you do during the JA/INJAZ program and what was your role?

I was a part of the JA Companies Company Program. Our Companies' name was Economic Architects.  and iIt was a service provider focused on enhancing the learning of students by providing edu-tours and holding symposiums for the students. I was privileged enough to be C.E.O of the company.

How did your JA/INJAZ experience change the way you approach things now?

I used to be rigid and wanted to approach life, the “right way.”" let me say the norm where I come from, the norm is to finish my high school, Go to University, and study earn one of the most prestigious degrees, and. Secure a good and well-paying job. Being a part of JA and being successful in our company made me realize I could do more than just have an average life. Now I allow myself to dream and go after those dreams. My JA experience even changed my career path. I am glad I got to be a part of JA in high school.

If you had a choice between two superpowers—being invisible or flying—which would you choose and why?

I would probably pick flying because I associate flying with freedom and hard work, just like an eagle soaring high. haha

Imagine you’ve been given as much money as you want. What kind of company would you start and why?

I would start a coaching Company, —Personal Development Coaching to be specific. because I believe that to make anything around you to be better ( be it your business, relationships finances carrier, etc.), you need to become better yourself.

Imagine you could interview your favorite celebrity. What questions would you ask him/her?

It’s quite difficult to choose one but I will go with John C. Maxwell.

I would ask, “How What was it like to move away from what felt like was the norm, and what was expected of you as a pastor into when becoming the world's leadership guru?”

What’s your favorite quote?

“Growth is the only guarantee that your tomorrow is going to get better.” –John C. Maxwell.

What’s your superpower and why?

I would say encouraging people., I can't help but love seeing people uplifted and filled with the energy to go after their dreams.
