My name is Justin. I’m a 19-year-old Mexican boy who has big dreams and high expectations for the future.
You are a JA/INJAZ alum: What did you do during the JA/INJAZ program and what was your role?
I participated in FIE Guatemala 2017 and my team won first place. In 2018, I participated in the Global Youth Forum, and in 2019 I was selected to be the COY Influencer for the 2019 JA Americas Company of the Year competition in the Dominican Republic.
How did your JA/INJAZ experience change the way you approach things now?
My team mentor and the people I met at the different events helped me see different perspectives in our world. The knowledge I gained and the international experiences I had changed the way I perceive events around me.
If you had a choice between two superpowers, being invisible or flying, which would you choose and why?
Flying. It would help me travel a lot and get there faster.
Imagine you could have as much money as you want. What kind of company would you start and why?
I would launch my own personal brand in social media and a company to produce massive amounts of green energy so no fuel is needed.
Imagine you could interview your favorite celebrity. Which questions would you ask him or her?
Elon Musk. I would ask how he comes up with all of his ideas and how he manages to transform them into a reality.

What’s your superpower and why?
Giving people around me comfort so they open up to me and share their feelings and thoughts.
What are you most excited about regarding the Gather Reporters?
Meeting new people and learning the process of working with JA for an extended period of time.
