๐Ÿงญ Introducing the JA Alumni Europe Executive Board 2026โ€“2027 ๐ŸŒ

We are proud to introduce the JA Alumni Europe Executive Board for 2026โ€“2027, part of the Alumni Leaders Academy Global (ALAG) led by JA Worldwide's Alumni Community Manager, Dana Khairallah. Elected unanimously by alumni leaders across the continent, the Board was publicly announced this August during the JA Alumni Europe Conference #JAAC26, held under the motto NAVIGATE in Tirana, Albania.

From Warsaw to Tirana: A Board Two Seasons in the Making

The story of this Board began in April, when alumni leaders from across Europe gathered in Warsaw, Poland, for the first-ever in-person JA Alumni Europe Alumni Assembly. There, the 2026โ€“2027 Executive Board was elected unanimously, chosen by the very network it now leads. Its public introduction was saved for a fitting stage: NAVIGATE, where 150+ alumni from across Europe came together in Tirana to explore new directions, strengthen their community, and celebrate entrepreneurship with the unique #alumnispirit.

That arc, from election in Warsaw to introduction in Tirana, reflects what this Board stands for: leadership that is elected by alumni, accountable to alumni, and always moving the network forward.

Meet the Executive Board

  • Silvan Vifian, President ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญ Silvan represents the alumni community at the JA Europe Board of Directors and guides the network's overall direction. He ensures smooth collaboration between strategy and operations, supports coordination across the Executive Board, and co-leads flagship initiatives such as Gen-E and the JA Alumni Europe Conference.

It's a great honour to lead JA Alumni Europe for another year. With this amazing team and the plans we have, I'm convinced we'll make a real impact this season.

  • Mohamed Benziane, Vice President ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท As Vice President, Mohamed works alongside Silvan to steer the Board's strategic priorities and keep the network aligned as it grows. He also serves as Europe's Regional Champion within ALAG, a role that keeps European alumni leadership closely connected to the global alumni movement.

Iโ€™m really honored to continue my journey with JA Alumni Europe, now as Vice President. Wearing two hats (as Vice President of JA Alumni Europe and Global Alumni Ambassador at JA Worldwide), I have a unique opportunity to connect even more the dots across our network, strengthen collaboration between the European and global levels and bring our global alumni community closer together than ever before.

  • Jules Terrens, Community Manager ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡บ Jules leads the Community Team in creating engaging, impactful opportunities that connect and inspire alumni across Europe, while supporting national networks with best practices and resources.

It is a pleasure to begin this second term in the EB as Community Manager, during which I aim to continue supporting our Member Networks, as well as helping develop new ones. I greatly look forward to working together with my fellow Board members and the rest of the European Team.

  • Anthea Borg, Partnerships Manager ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡น Anthea leads the Partnerships Team in building meaningful collaborations with organizations, businesses, and institutions, creating opportunities that promote entrepreneurship among young people across the continent.

After restarting the Alumni network in Malta and serving on the board as Events Manager and later as International Coordinator for the past three years, I am excited to continue my alumni journey as Partnerships Manager on this year's European Alumni Board.  If youโ€™d told me back in 2020, during a global pandemic, that Iโ€™d be here today giving back to the JA community after selling hand-painted plant pots with messages related to mental health, I wouldnโ€™t have believed it! Bring on more connections, partnerships and opportunities.

JA brings together ambitious and curious people who want to make a difference. As Communications Manager, Iโ€™m excited to help make sure their ideas and stories are seen, heard, and remembered-creating communication that connects people and makes this year feel engaging, open, and alive.

  • Stephanie Symeonidi, Events Manager ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡พ Stephanie leads efforts to plan and deliver the experiences that bring alumni together, from regional gatherings to flagship moments like the JA Alumni Europe Conference.

Together, these six leaders steer JA Alumni Europe forward, representing communities from across the continent and working side by side with national alumni networks in all 29 member countries.

Building on Momentum

This Board steps into its role at a moment of real structural growth for JA Alumni Europe. The Warsaw Assembly that elected them also adopted a 5-Year Backbone Strategy and a 2030 vision built around convergence, sustainability, empowerment, experience, and stability, alongside a new governance model connecting the European Core, National Chapters, and the wider Initiative Ecosystem. NAVIGATE, the Board's first major moment in the spotlight, carried that same energy into Tirana, bringing alumni together to explore new directions and strengthen the community that elected them.

Looking Ahead

As part of the broader momentum of the Alumni Leaders Academy Global, the JA Alumni Europe Executive Board reflects what's possible when regional leadership and global alumni strategy move in step. With the compass of NAVIGATE behind them and a five-year roadmap ahead, this Board carries forward the work of connecting, activating, and celebrating alumni across Europe, under the spirit of #OneJA.
